By virtue of her Will, the Sheila Hichens Trust was formed to create an art collection to show how life was lived in West Cornwall before the middle of the twentieth century.
We have two collections housed across three different rooms in the gallery.
'The home' features pieces depicting family life, leisure and art and 'land and sea' features pieces depicting fishing, farming, agriculture & commerce.
