Homecoming 

In a spacious interior, a young guardsman is being introduced to a child by a grandmother. There is an awkwardness between them. The child could be his son or maybe a younger brother who he hasn’t seen for a long time. Perhaps he has been serving overseas and has been away many months, even years. It is a big room, with a very large fireplace and the space emphasises the gulf between them.
