Bouverie Hoyton was a master printmaker. Originally from London, he came to Cornwall in 1941 and took up the post of Principal at the Penzance School of Art.
The Newlyn Old Harbour of this print is a small harbour that dates from medieval times. In this work we see boats from the 1940s.
