Fishing Fleet Low Tide, Newlyn

Perhaps this shows a Sunday when fishing was forbidden, the fleet is moored up in Newlyn Harbour and drying their sails. Sails would rot if stowed wet. Some of the sails are new and pale, older sails are coloured brown with preservative.
